Presentation of the Alfred Kerr Prize for Literary Criticism 2025
Public Tribute to Beate Tröger with Laudation Speech and Acceptance Speech

As part of the Leipziger Buchmesse, the magazine Börsenblatt and the Stiftung Buchkultur und Leseförderung des Börsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels are awarding the Alfred Kerr Prize for Literary Criticism, endowed with 5,000 euros, to the critic and author Beate Tröger.
The laudatory speech for Beate Tröger will be held by Katrin Schuster, who has been a consultant to the management of Munich City Library since 2020. Karin Schmidt-Friderichs, President of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, will give the welcoming address.
