MVB: Ines Walenta is in Charge of Marketing & Communications
B2B Expert Oversees International Brand Identity and Leads Key Organizational Unit
Ines Walenta joins the management team of technology and information provider MVB. Effective August 01, 2026, she has assumed leadership of the “Marketing & Communications” division, including responsibility for budget and staff. She succeeds Ines Roth, who has left the company. In her new role, Ines Walenta reports directly to MVB CEO Meike Knops. Together with her team, she is responsible—both strategically and operationally—for the cross-location development of brand management for all MVB companies and offerings, as well as for communication processes. Her area of responsibility includes corporate identity and corporate design, corporate communications, and product marketing.
Meike Knops: "MVB’s business model is multifaceted and has become increasingly international in recent years. This also means that the demands on our communications have grown. I am therefore all the more pleased that we were able to bring Ines Walenta onto our team and that she will use her extensive experience and fresh ideas to expand our cross-location communications."
Ines Walenta: "Making books visible today means far more than just good communication—it’s about intelligently connecting people, markets, and digital opportunities. It’s precisely this connection that inspires me. I look forward to working with the MVB team to further develop this strong brand, bring innovations to light, and help shape the future of the book industry through communication."
So far, Ines Walenta has built and led the marketing department at Chargemaker, a charging infrastructure provider. Previously, she worked as a marketing specialist at the European headquarters of the international automotive supplier Nemak, as well as at various agencies in Frankfurt, for example as account director at the communications and branding agency DAMM & BIERBAUM. Ines Walenta is a certified media specialist (IHK) and a trained media designer, and she has more than 20 years of experience with a clear focus on B2B marketing.
