Thank you for #fbm24
This year's Frankfurter Buchmesse is over and it was once again a great pleasure. Five wonderful, inspiring and jam-packed days at the fair with great encounters and good conversations as well as a varied program lie behind us:
We would like to thank everyone who visited us at our stand in Hall 4.0, attended events with us and once again made this Frankfurter Buchmesse something very special.
Arrivederci #fbm24 - we're looking forward to #fbm25!
Our Highlights
At our format “MVB-Austausch”, we discussed current topics in our industry in eleven rounds, from customer loyalty and sustainability to AI. This open dialog format is a real miracle bag, because the motto is “Everything can, nothing has to.” – from the clarification of fundamental questions to individual advice, depending on the spontaneous constellation.
There was also a lot going on at our Livro-Gemeinschaftsausstellung (Livro joint exhibition), which presented new works from small and self-publishers in the packed Hall 3.0. One highlight was the interview with SPIEGEL bestselling author Vanessa Göcking, who talked about her journey as a self-publisher.
A big celebration was the finale of our CONTENTshift-Accellerator. This year, the jury chose the Gamebook Studio platform as Start-up of the Year. The founding team can look forward to an innovation prize of 10,000 euros. Another award ceremony during the fair took place in Haus des Buches. There we presented Helen Daughtrey, who founded the online book club “Mädels, die lesen”, with the Börsenblatt Young Excellence Award #yeaward24. Congratulations again!

#fbm24: Our Impressions
Our Bella-Italia-Challenge
Italy was the Guest of Honor at the 76th Frankfurter Buchmesse and presented itself with an impressive staging in the Guest of Honour Pavilion. Our social media team didn't miss the opportunity to “noodle” around the fair with a farfalle headdress and matching shirt and to challenge other social media teams from the industry to a Bella-Italia-Challenge. Our reels show how that turned out for us:
